THE ILLUMINASIUM

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is not a Mexican version of Halloween.
Though related, the two annual events differ greatly.

Whereas Halloween is a dark night of scares and mischief, Day of the Dead festivities unfold in an explosion of color and celebration, where revelers wear funky makeup and costumes, sing and dance, and make offerings to lost loved ones.

Inside the illuminasium everything glows.  Painted faces, glitter tattoos and balloons all magically light up beneath the UV lighting.

Outside the centre is alive with colour, shows and entertainment.
